Profile

Jason has a backgound in law and a Research Masters in Social Science. Prior to working within Indigenous higher education research centres he undertook various legal consultancies and worked on Indigenous documentary production. Over the past few years he has taken part in a diverse range of research projects including Treaty claims research in Aotearoa/NZ, Indigenous program/policy evaluation, comparative legal analysis and creative practice. He also collaborated with artists,  musicians and filmmakers through creative practice and has coordinated international Indigenous delegations to Aoteaora/NZ and the U.S. Jason continues to pursue documentary and new media potential for enhancement of research and project outcomes in communities.
